Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Clasendro mobile application and website (the “Service”), operated by Clasendro Technologies Private Limited (“Clasendro”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Clasendro

The Service is intended for adults — school administrators, teachers, and the parents or guardians of enrolled students — who are invited or authorised by a school. You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. Students do not create accounts. You are responsible for keeping your phone number and device secure, since sign-in uses a one-time passcode sent to your phone.

2. Accounts and access

Your access is granted through a school and is limited to the role assigned to you (parent, teacher, or administrator). You agree to provide accurate information, to use the Service only for its intended educational and administrative purposes, and not to attempt to access data belonging to other users or schools. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that a school withdraws.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or content that violates a child’s or another person’s rights.
  • Attempt to breach security, probe, or disrupt the Service, or reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law.
  • Use the Service to send spam or to collect data about others without authorisation.
  • Misrepresent your identity or role.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (messages, photos, records). You grant Clasendro a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you and your school. You are responsible for having the right to upload the content you submit, including any photos of children, and for complying with your school’s policies and applicable law.

5. School fees and payments

Where a school enables online fee collection, payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Razorpay). Fees are charged by and payable to the school for real-world educational services; Clasendro is not the merchant of those fees and does not set them. Refunds, reversals, and disputes about fees are handled according to the school’s policy. The Service itself is provided to schools under a separate commercial agreement.

6. AI-assisted features

Some features generate AI-assisted drafts and summaries. These are provided as aids, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are shown for a human to review before use. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on or sending it. Clasendro is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of AI-generated content.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these Terms. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including children’s data, and forms part of these Terms.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clasendro is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amount paid to us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or at a school’s request. On termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive (including content licence limits, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at our registered place of business have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under applicable law.
